slaying the dragon. august. 2700 / 2014.

Stranded in the Drabwurld, the Brucolac reacts as anyone might and abruptly joins a party gone to slay the dragon which lies under Redgate. In the course of this attempt, he meets Alyosha of Redgate, and gets a whole lot of information about what exactly the Courts are fighting for. The dragon escapes the mountain but dies of its injuries soon after in Caer Glaem.

the midnight court. september. 2700 / 2014

Deciding to carry on with his role of "distinctly over-involved bodyguard", the Brucolac accompanies Saralegui to Treun to meet with the vampir lord Tzilan, who presides over a midnight court, and convince him to go to Caer Scima. Though this doesn't work out as well as it could have, given that Tzilan has arranged to use Alyosha as bait for Reynard and uses the Brucolac and Saralegui as bait for Alyosha, Tzilan eventually comes the fuck along next month. While the Brucolac is still in Treun, however, Tzilan tells him to seek out the thief who has stolen the Garuda's feathers.

the garuda job. october. 2700 / 2014.

Some feathers. A thief. A last-minute change of heart. A lot of the Brucolac being forced to wonder what the hell he's doing. Charged with finding the feather-thief by Tzilan, the Brucolac hunts him down with the help of Harry and Javik. They catch him, discover he's tried to make off with a sigil, and the Brucolac decides to throw him in the dungeons while giving Javik two of the three feathers and keeping one back as a bargaining tool. But at the last moment, Balor steps in...and gives the worst advice known to man. The Brucolac ends up killing the thief quickly and making the sigil change itself into a key, taking to carrying it around about his throat.

the fox hunt. december. 2700 / 2014.

A plan is hatched to rid the Drabwurld of Reynard the Fox, but what's this? He's fucking immortal, that's what, because he took his own heart out and turned it gold and split it into seven pieces, all hidden away across the Drabwurld, which is exactly the sort of stupid shit that will make people want to kill you in the first place, Reynard. While two other teams lure and trap the Fox respectively, the Brucolac and the Outsider head up Team Heart. There are missions to collect heart-pieces run in Eaglais, Parrais, the Station, the Cothromach, Mair, Daonna and Treun, the last three of which the Brucolac is personally involved with. Lancelot discovers the means to destroy the heart and it is done by the night of the 10th.

the reddened hill. march. 2701 / 2014.

The Battles of the White Hill and the Black Hill respectively are fought; the Brucolac wars in each, but after accepts a request from Waver Velvet, Lord El Melloi II, to write an account of the former from an Unseelie perspective. He takes the opportunity to flatter the Seabhac and mock Tarz, and copies of the brief history are available throughout Dorchadas.

the other war. april 2701 / 2014 - april 2702/2015.

Aileas an Seabhac requests that the Brucolac help her encourage peace between the vampir and elves of the Drabwurld. The chilly, scattered nature of the conflict and the Brucolac's personal concerns prevent much headway being made in 2701, though he does discuss elven letters with Lauralae, an exiled Aellyn, in September 2701. He spends the months attempting various unobtrusive ways of gaining information (tracking the movements of blood granite, questioning the Midnight Court, etc) all of which offer only minor rewards. Finally, he is ready to make his move in April 2702, launching a series of more personal and more radical attempts to gain information and contacts--by hook, by crook, by murder, betrayal and ritual.
